Facilities

On the Facilities screen you can enter the facilities that belong to the company. The facility is the actual site or location where a operating process takes place and is directly under the company in the tree of company, facilities, departments and processes.

Name : Enter the facility name here. This name should be unique for every facility. You will find the facility reflected throughout Motors@Work, e.g. in Department, Processes, Utility Meter, Utility Bills, My Motors, Motor Evaluation, My Pumps.

Address 1: This and the next few fields show the address of the facility. Enter the street address or P.O. Box number.

Address 2 : Enters the building number, suite number, floor, etc. (Address continuation)

Zip Code : Enter the zip code in 5+4 format (nine-digit zip code). (Address continuation)

Country : Select country. (Address continuation)

State : Select state. (Address continuation)

City : Enter the name of the city in the text box. (Address continuation)

Payback Period : The length of time in years required for an investment to recover its initial outlay in terms of profits or savings. Refers to the time required to recoup the funds expended in an investment. Input years in the format 1.5 yrs.

Language : It is the system of communication used by a country. User selects a language from the list by clicking on Dropdown list.

Currency : Select the currency. Motors@Work uses the currency for cost and revenue reporting.

EAM System : Select the EAM system utilized at facility.

Out of Service : You can select Out of service for a facility. If selected then this particular facility cannot be used as a reference on any new records. However, existing records where this facility is already selected will not be affected.

Operating Schedule : Enter an operating schedule for each facility. The operating schedule will form the basis for energy consumption calculations.

Utility Provider : Enter the utility provider that provides services to this facility (Example: Electric provider in a zone or area)

Utility Rate : This is a rate set by the utility provider for billing purposes. This rate is the amount charged to the customer, for providing energy (Electricity) for a specific duration.

Primary Contact : Select the contact. This is the first person or entity to contact by the User in case of any update.

Secondary Contact : Select the contact. This is the person or entity to be contacted by the User if primary contact is unable to be reached.

Recommend Downsize : If you select Recommend Downsize the system will also search the Catalog for replacement motors with a smaller size during a detailed analysis. For example, if you have a 100 hp motor with a load of only 40% than possibly a 75 hp motor could also be used as an alternative. If unselected the search for a motor with a smaller size will be omitted.

Maximum load for downsize : If Recommend Downsize is selected the system will calculate the expected load for any alternative downsized catalog motor. If the calculated load is greater than the value you entered for Maximum load for downsize, than that alternative motor will not be considered.
